Compilation of remastered recordings, originally intended for commercial release, made in Dublin dating between 1948 and "the early 1950's," "with the bulk of the recordings being made in 1949." According to an e-mail from Nicholas Carolan to Alan Ng 11 March 2022, Harry Bradshaw shared with him that "Mrs Stapleton told Harry that experimental recording began in late 1948 but the only definite year he has for the Taisce Luachmhar Fiddle people is 1949 for Paddy Killoran's recordings. IRC recording seems to have ceased in early 1950 [. . .]."
